CHROMOLY CRANKSHAFT, 74mm

The heart of any hi-performance engine is the crankshaft. Counter weighted crankshafts greatly reduce power robbing and damaging crank flex, high RPM harmonics and vibration through the power range. EMPI's counter weighted crankshafts are perfect for the racer on a budget. These cranks are precision ground, micro polished, nitrided and balanced. Features include: forged from 4140 chromo radiused standard/standard journals, chamfered oil holes, 8 dowel, 8mm dowel pins and cross drilled. This 74mm counter weighted crankshaft uses stock VW main and rod bearings.
